"Who's That Doggy?" is the story of Jon Jon, an American Cocker Spaniel who was brought to the Humane Society of Missouri as a stray in 2009. The Humane Society staff treated and cared for Jon Jon for weeks before he was well enough for adoption. When he became healthy, he was quickly adopted by Alissa Murphy. "Who's That Doggy?" tells his story, and many other dogs like him, who were lost or abandoned. Through the care of organizations like the Humane Society, Animal Protective Association and Stray Rescue, they begin wonderful lives with their new families. Author Biography
Mike Meehan grew up in St. Mary's-of-the-Woods, Indiana before moving to St. Louis in 2004. He is a writer and artist and a graduate of Indiana State University and Saint Louis University, He wrote, illustrated and provided much of the photography for this book. Alissa Murphy is a St. Louis native and a graduate of Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. In 2009, she adopted Jon Jon from the Humane Society of Missouri. Many of her photos are featured in this book. She has worked in healthcare sales for over 17 years.
