Joe Funk earned his gaming stripes writing for EGM in the early '90s, becoming the OG Editorial Director of the mag and its many sister and spinoff publications, where he also co-founded Videogames.com and Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine. As owner and content director of Mojo Media, he's partnered with Microsoft, Nintendo, PlayStation, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, IGN, Walmart, National Geographic, NY Times, Honda, and more.

Dan "Shoe" Hsu reshaped the gaming media landscape during his seven-year tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Gaming Monthly. He's also covered video games for Bitmob and VentureBeat, and worked at PlayStation, Blizzard, and Riot Games. He cohosts the board game podcast Going Analog.

Dean Takahashi is a journalist with more than 25 years of experience covering the worlds of technology and video games. His work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Jose Mercury News. Since 2008, he's served as the lead writer of VentureBeat's GamesBeat division. Dean is also the author of two critically acclaimed books, Opening the Xbox and The Xbox 360 Uncloaked.

John Davison's storied career in gaming media began in 1996 at the U.K. magazine PC Zone. He crossed the pond to serve as Electronic Gaming Monthly's third-ever editor-in-chief, and later oversaw gaming divisions at Ziff Davis, GamePro Media, CBS Interactive, and Rolling Stone, among others. He's currently Senior Vice President and Publisher of IGN Entertainment.

Van Burnham is an author, curator, and self-proclaimed "arcade rat" dedicated to preserving the history of gaming. She is the author of the critically acclaimed and groundbreaking Supercade: A Visual History of the Videogame Age. Her writing has been featured in Wired, Official U.S. Playstation Magazine, Electric Playground, and Future's Retro Gamer.

Josh Harmon is a Los Angeles-based writer, editor, and critic who's covered video games professionally for over 15 years, including a decade-long stint at EGM. His work has been nominated for The New York Videogame Critics Circle's Games Journalism Award.
