by Jaisankar Sarma (Author), Alexia Salvatierra (Foreword by)

Transformational Frontiers lifts the veil on one of the most overlooked realities in Christian development: the indispensable role of fieldworkers. These men and women are not simply implementers of strategy--they are bearers of Christ's presence, cultivators of trust, and companions in the work of restoration. Yet in many organizations, their agency is undermined by systems that prioritize metrics, models, and managerial efficiency over relationships and presence. This book challenges that trend. It re-centers fieldworkers in the story of transformational development, calling for a renewed vision that honors their calling, affirms their agency, and restores the witness of Christ to its rightful place. Drawing from years of experience and stories from the field, Transformational Frontiers invites leaders, practitioners, and donors alike to see development not as a project to manage, but as a holy collaboration--where God's Spirit moves through those on the frontlines of love, justice, and mercy.
