by Barbara Sharp (Author), Melissa Varner (Foreword by)

The womb remembers--long before our first breath, our stories begin. Blending psychological insight with spiritual depth, The Womb Remembers explores how experiences in the womb--especially unwantedness, rejection, or maternal stress--can shape our sense of belonging, identity, and emotional life. Drawing from her groundbreaking doctoral research, clinical practice, and personal journey, Barbara Sharp gives voice to those born under the shadow of rejection. Through poignant client stories, clinical interpretation, and biblical reflection, she uncovers how early emotional imprints influence attachment, trauma, and faith--and how God's healing can reach even the hidden places within. This is an invitation to name the pain that's been carried, reclaim the story, and discover that what began in wounding can end in wholeness.
