Massimo Scaligero was an author, esotericist and connoisseur of oriental philosophy. A protégé of Giovanni Colazza during their time in the Ur Group, his work combined esotericism and anthroposophy with right-wing ideology in a system which sought to unify Germany and Italy as it did the spiritual and the material realms.
