Christianity centers on the life and death of Jesus as Christ. Jane McAvoy is associate professor of theology at Lexington Theological Seminary. Her other works include Table Talk: Resources for the Communion Table and numerous articles on the application of medieval women mystics to the contemporary theology, spirituality, and pedagogy.
