She is a board certified Naturopath from the American Naturopathic Medical Association and a board certified nutritionist from the American Association of Nutritional Consultants. She holds a certification from Harvard Medical School in Natural Remedies for Psychiatric Disorders. She retired her practice three years ago to write natural health and nutrition books. She lives in Texas with her husband and two Chow Chows.
