by Doug G. West (Author)

Can a person lose their salvation? Are only certain people called by God to be saved? What place does faith have in the salvation experience? All of these are important questions that are covered in The Giving of Grace. Set in a manual style format, Doug West looks at Old and New Testament Scriptures that come under fire in the Calvinist (Once Saved Always Saved)/ Arminian (salvation is conditional) debate. Written for both the lay person and pastor, this manual contrasts both the Calvinist and Arminian views on selected Scriptures, breaks them down, and gives you the bottom line to fully understand them.

Author Biography

Doug West has been in ministry since 1993, pastoring churches in Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota. He has earned a B.A. (Pre-Seminary) from Vennard College, and M.A. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He currently pastors the Larimore Church of the Nazarene in Larimore, ND, where he and his wife Priscilla, and their four children make their home, along with their dog, Sadie, and cat, Nermal. In his free time, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, taking in a good movie, drawing/ writing, and playing/ teaching the drums. He also serves as a partner at P246 Marketing Group.
