He is an inventor of several U.S. patents. Dr. Bishop is a regular contributor to engineering and management publications worldwide. He is a member and committee chair for the International Electrotechnical Commission based in Geneva, Switzerland, a member of the ACM, and a Senior Member of the IEEE.
