by Tom Valenta (Author)

It was the mid-1980s and the information technology revolution was in its infancy. Max Sutherland and Bruce Smith formed a market research firm based in Melbourne. In the coming years, Sutherland Smith did far more than traditional market research. Using innovative data programming, the firm became a leader in continuous tracking, a methodology which radically changed the face of market research. Under the brand MarketMind Technologies, Bruce and Max exported their continuous tracking product around the world. When, in 1998, they sold MarketMind, it was licensed in some 22 countries.

This is the history of Sutherland Smith and MarketMind - and the people who made it happen. The two owners attracted a remarkable team of professionals who made enormous contributions to the success of the businesses. Several are now owners of, or partners in, thriving market research companies. The two founders remain close friends and this book was commissioned to celebrate their 75th birthdays in 2019.
