Brethren I believe you will imagine what it means to remain on track, don't forget we are pilgrims on earth and running a race and the word of God says in the book of Romans 9 verse 16, 'So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.' We need the help of God in this race we are running for so many reasons, Christianity is not a bed of roses, challenges, trials, temptations must come in various dimensions and only by the mercies of God that we will triumph.The Christian race is like an athlete running a marathon on the track, should the fellow fall out of the track, the resultant effect is disqualification from the tournament. The works of our hands, behavioural patterns, relationship with God determines how far we can go in this race.
