When hearing the story of Joseph in church, I realized my life story was similar. The Holy Spirit came over me and revealed all of God's blessings in my life. I saw how God was training me as a boy to become a lifeguard, saw prayers that were answered I could not see before, I saw how God used good and bad people in my life to direct my paths. I am the youngest of three boys from a military family. My parents divorced when I was 7 years old. I mostly raised myself without much parental guidance. There were many wild and crazy times in my past, and I share them here in this book. I grew up as a Lutheran, attended Baptist, and now I am a Presbyterian. I lost and found my way with God a few times, but God never gave up on me. He was always there for me, even when I was not there for Him.
