Why study karma and reincarnation?

All of us face situations in life that defy immediate understanding. It might be a meeting that makes us ask: What just happened? Or we find ourselves in a human encounter that seems to uncover so much more than expected-What's going on here? Why me?-and we seem to face these questions with growing frequency and urgency today.

Karmic Reconciliation takes us below the surface of everyday life to consider the great passages of time from one incarnation to the next. Using Rudolf Steiner's eight volumes of Karmic Relationships: Esoteric Studies, Dr. Finser presents fifty-two units of study along with accompanying assignments and provocative questions for meditative contemplation.

This book is intended for advanced students of anthroposophy who are willing to challenge prevailing assumptions about our purpose on Earth, as well as to investigate why we meet certain people and find ourselves in relationships that feel destined. Through the human encounters, we have numerous opportunities to resolve "karmic knots" of the past and to serve the present in new ways. Our investigation of karma and reincarnation can thus serve as a guide and practical aid for living life more fully in ever-awakening consciousness.
