When I stop dieting, I get fat. When I stop exercising, I get fat. Are you like me? Do you ever wonder why that is? I did. But I wasn't just curious, I was frustrated...like most of us are when it comes to weight/fat control. So I set out on a journey. A journey that lasted almost 3 years! After much research and experimentation, I found the solution! Yes, you read that correctly. I have found the reason as to why we get fat when we do not diet and exercise constantly. Believe it or not, most of the problem is not diet and exercise. We all have a hidden 6th sense...an ability that, for quite some time in society, has been dormant in our psyche. Our lack of understanding and use of this ability is the reason all diets and exercise programs ultimately fail.
Oh, and did I mention that I did not change my diet!!! That was one of the main factors I set in stone in my research. I know, for the most part, I eat healthy. I did not want to create a solution like everyone else tries to do by giving some crazy diet that has to be followed. That is why this, truly, is the solution versus another zany diet.
So join me as I describe what has happened to us as a society (me included) and how easily we can correct the "fat" problem ourselves without a magic pill. No complex scientific mumbo-jumbo here. The entire book is written in an informal, first person, comical format. Absolutely no doom and gloom. I bet you have never read a book like this one. David Hrncir is a jack of all trades. David is a software engineer, carpenter, plumber, cook, triathlete, writer, husband, and father...to name a few. As you can infer from the title "I See Fat People", a joke aimed at himself, David is fun-loving. Motto: "Life is enjoyable when you focus on the enjoyable." David grew up on a farm in south Texas, the youngest of five. His family didn't have much money, but had everything else. "My parents raised us 'right', and that is the greatest blessing of all." David attended a major university and earned his BBA in Computer Information Systems in 1995. He has live/worked in Houston his entire career as an enterprise architect and software engineer. More than anything, David enjoys a challenge. Finding what is wrong with society, starting with himself, in terms of eating incorrectly, and getting it all into a book that is less than 110 pages is an amazing feat in and of itself! "I wanted a book that would appeal to the 25-55 crowd since that seems to be where we lose our way in regards to health. Not just because we may not eat healthy food, but because we tend to get so busy with life, we stop thinking about food for what it is...energy." The book has a tremendous amount of common sense based on uncommon knowledge. David went from a caliper-measured 23% body fat to 10% without changing his diet and without adding additional exercise. David loves to exercise and promotes exercise, but only for general health reasons and not fat loss. The book lays it all out in a short, informal, and comical format that is an enjoyable read as well as a knowledgeable read.
