The author's exposure to this toxic defoliant had profound consequences, creating colon cancer and other health effects. These issues, plus the traumatic events of the war, also resulted in PTSD. With a desire to find ways to heal Vietnam's agriculture, the book explains how their new joint organization, Mission Sunrise Initiative, will make this a reality.
