Although this book is autobiographical in content, my primary purpose for writing has not been to tell the facts of my life. Rather, I have tried to share my "spiritual journey"-the way in which God took hold of my life and has gradually changed me from the inside out so that I can better represent him and accomplish the purpose for which I was created. This spirituality, however, is not primarily ethereal or mystical; rather, it is an unseen reality being worked out in the life of a normal guy who lives in this broken world of ours. Steve Humble is a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He has sought to faithfully follow Jesus for more than fifty years. Born and raised in Central Ohio, as an adult Steve lived in the upper Midwest for thirteen years and now has resided in central Kentucky for thirty-four years. He is an avid reader and enjoys collecting and listening to a wide range of music.
