The theology of "the last things" has long been, and still is, a source of confusion and contention among Christians. Indeed, the century just past could be called the century of eschatology. In that century, theologians such as Albert Schweitzer, C. H. Dodd, Rudolf Bultmann, Oscar Cullmann, and Karl Barth loom large. Author Biography
Kevin Wagner is a senior lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, Australia. He specializes in patristic theology, early church history, and Scripture. He is co-author of Dreams, Virtue and Divine Knowledge in Early Christian Egypt.
Peter John McGregor is a lecturer in theology at the Catholic Institute of Sydney and the author of Heart to Heart: The Spiritual Christology of Joseph Ratzinger.
Danijel Uremovic completed his masters thesis on the ecclesiology of Erich Przywara and Hans Urs von Balthasar at the University of Notre Dame, Australia. He has edited various works in theology and philosophy, including the forthcoming Ratzinger Dictionary.
