Growing up in a household of medical professionals introduced me to the health care field very early on. Both my parents practiced medicine for over 30 years and are now retired. I have witnessed their passion and love for health care day in and day out, in addition to the struggles of dealing with sickness and pain that they encountered. As a child I even spent some nights in the hospital with my mom who was a pediatrician on call at the time and witnessed her passion first hand. This exposure has rubbed off on me tremendously and left me with a goal set in mind: helping people via health care was what I wanted to do when I grew up.As I was nearing the end of my college, I literally stumbled upon dentistry thru some acquaintances who described to me the craftsmanship aspect of the field in addition to the great relationship building that it provided with patients. I had a knack for attention to detail and organization and I believed it was the perfect fit for me in a small office environment rather than a hospital setting. In addition, the ability to treat dental pain was another major aspect that finally solidified my entry and love of dental practice as I learned about the debilitating effects of dental pain and its severe adverse effects on the quality of life.After completing dental school in Florida, I moved to Boston where I obtained additional training and received my General Practice Residency and Fellowship certificates. The residency program specialized in treating special needs patients and I performed full mouth rehabilitation procedures on these patients who could not be seen in a regular dental office. It was a rewarding experience to treat and help these patients obtain proper oral health.After a few years of working as an associate dentist for other offices, we settled in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia when I purchased an existing dental office in 2009. It was the best move of my life! I am privileged to serve this great community and the surrounding regions.After practicing in the original location for a few years, we expanded to our new location on Street of Dreams. My goal was to build a facility that felt and looked furthest from your typical dental office: A relaxing, spacious atmosphere with warm and modern touches that promoted reduced anxiety and comfort. This in combination with our continuous mission of providing good old fashioned customer service.Investing in a new state of the art facility was only part of the equation. I am a strong believer in continuing education. From fillings and cleanings to Implants and cosmetic dentistry our highly skilled providers and team are ready to care of almost every dental issue or need you may have under one roof. We strive to make it possible for you to have quality, lasting dental care. We help you keep your teeth (or put them back as they should be!)
