Author Biography

Michael N. Jagessar is a Research Associate of the Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education, Honorary Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, and Secretary for Racial Justice and Multicultural Ministry in the United Reformed Church. His publications include Black Theology in Britain (edited with Anthony G. Reddie), Postcolonial Black British Theology (edited with Antony G. Reddie) and The Edge of God (edited with Nicola Slee and Stephen Burns). Dr. Jagessar is also the Reviews Editor of Black Theology: An International Journal. Stephen Burns is Research Fellow in Public and Contextual Theology in the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University, Sydney. His publications include Liturgy (SCM Studyguide), Worship in Context, Exchanges of Grace (edited with Natalie K. Watson), The Edge of God (edited with Nichola Slee and Michael N. Jagessar), Christian Worship in Australia (edited with Anita Monro) and Presiding Like a Woman (edited with Nichola Slee). Dr Burns is also the editor of the series Renewing the Eucharist.
