Toni "Alika" Hickman is a singer/songwriter/hip-hop artist/motivational speaker that has been featured on gold and platinum albums worldwide.In 2007 she had a 2nd aneurysm and 1st stroke. After having her hair shaved off and being temporarily paralyzed, the doctor's told her not to put any perms in her hair. While doing extensive research on why she couldn't perm her hair, she ended up getting a harsh reality check about almost everything she puts on her skin and hair, thus, creating her 1st book, Chemical Suicide. She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Weekly, Spinal Column Magazine, and several blogs.
