Catherine Doughty, MS, CCHI, is an award winning author who holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics from The University of Texas School of Biomedical Informatics. In addition to her career as a Director for the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, she is a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor for three universities. For the first time in book form, Cathy provides an intensive understanding and step-by-step guide utilizing scientific methodology to navigate complex issues and medical decision making in an uncertain decision space that a patient experiences during a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment planning.
