by Laura Bedingfeld (Author)
Without the Resurrection, our faith is empty. With it, we are born anew to a living hope.
In a world overshadowed by despair,
Arise calls Christians to rediscover the blazing promise of resurrection that has animated God's people from Abraham to the apostles and down through the ages. In these fifty transformative meditations, Scripture opens before your eyes with fresh clarity, unveiling how the power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in you -- now and forever.
Drawing from patriarchs and prophets, psalms and parables, this book reveals the progressive unfolding of resurrection faith throughout salvation history, culminating in Christ's own ministry and mystery of resurrection: "I AM the Resurrection." You will see how:
Accessible and powerful, Arise is divided into fifty short chapters -- perfect for daily prayer, retreats, or group study. Each section includes Scripture references, reflection questions, and a reading plan, making it an ideal companion for the Easter season or any time of year when faith needs rekindling.
This book presents resurrection not as a distant doctrine but as the living reality of Christ dwelling within you -- calling you, day by day, to rise. To stand. To live.
Christ is risen. His word resounds in every heart willing to hear: "Arise."
