by James Herschel Taylor (Author)

I'm an African American teenager and I've had a great desire to become a publish author since I was eight years old. I'm fifteen years old today and still feel that passion for writing my first book. I'm also a High School sophomore, and looking forward to college. Since I was a small kid I've always been interested in history, and enjoy studying American History. In August 2014, I was the youngest person ever to be chosen out of over 1000 applicants to have my DNA tested and be a part of the "Genealogy Roadshow," which aired on January 20, 2015. During my years on earth I have heard many things, and seen many things, regarding our history. Sometimes I think there are many people that don't understand the wonderful things about history, or maybe they just don't want to acknowledge some of the true facts about how we are all connected in history. I am hoping this book will explain and help the readers understand how I feel we live and how we interacted in our world of togetherness. I studied the Analogy of how Chess is played at an early age, and was always intrigued about how much the game reminded me of how people really interacted with each other. As I noticed and felt in my mind we were moving through life like Chess. I could see certain chess pieces actually represented different races and it reminded me of the rich and the poor. I could see that people were like (chess pieces) how they manipulated the chessboard to their advantage to win the game. This isn't anything new to me but this is what has been occurring, influencing and affecting people all over America in my opinion. So, I decided to write my first book about people and a chess game. I hope you are intrigued and enjoy my first work."
