This book highlights and explores a new reality and a new concern for parents: the growing epidemic of harassment and bullying that is taking place throughout the Cyber World - the world of electronic technology. The Parent's Guide to Cyberbullying: Harassment in the Modern Age, is an engaging and informative exploration and guide to understanding what the problem of cyberbullying encompasses, how pervasive it is, and how one can and should monitor and deal with and prevent children from wandering into the world of harassment and cyberbullying. The book is thoroughly researched and presented in a way to provide helpful information and guidance for dealing with cyberbullying. The book explores what the Cyber World really means to our kids. It is made clear that the Cyber World opens up the real risk of our kids experiencing or causing cyberbullying. The book examines the extent of the problem, and sadly, the ramifications on our children and society from this horrible epidemic. It is the goal of the book to help parents and others to appreciate that there are things that can be done to prevent and correct cyberbullying. It is the ultimate goal of the book to provide Parents with the information, ideas and tools they need to understand cyberbullying, deal with it, stop it, and keep kids SAFE.
