Author Biography
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, author Petula V. Sankarsingh moved to the United States at the age of four. It was by far one of the hardest transitions a young person could imagine. In school, she and her siblings struggled with racial and cultural differences, often unbeknownst to their parents. Former Executive Director for a large national charity, now runs several businesses of her own, A Love Letter to Me was inspired by Sankarsingh's personal struggles as an immigrant woman, and her desire to help other women and girls to achieve personal growth, and emerge triumphant from their own unique challenges.
